Making their Tribfest debut, they'll be performing in the VIP Big Top on Sunday 21st August, 23.30 - 00.30
The Sensational David Bowie Tribute Band are one of Britain’s favourite Bowie tributes. Their front-man is recognised as the closest sounding to the great man himself.
They are a loud and live rock band who use no backing tracks or samples, and cover all of Bowie’s many incarnations, regularly selling out large venues across the country. They can count, amongst their fans, many of rock and roll’s greats...
John is David Bowie. Al is guitarist Mick Ronson. Andy is keyboard player Mike Garson, Tom is bass player Trevor Bolder and Matt is drummer Woody Woodmansey!
Completing the line up is Ali (6 string and 12 string acoustic), Steve (saxophone and harmonica) and Janice (backing vocals and extra percussion).
Together they recreate the music of David Bowie from Space Oddity in 1969, through the Spiders from Mars era and on into 1980 with Ashes to Ashes and many other classic tracks.
