A Message From Ed

July 18, 2017

Dear Tribfesters,

First and foremost I'd to thank everyone who attended Tribfest this weekend, we had a great time and it was nice to be able to get out into the crowd to talk to you all. My team and I have received lots of lovely comments and it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces leaving on Monday morning.

However, it's come to my attention that a minority came away with some negative experiences. Firstly we had problems with some noisy campers after hours. Although the buck ultimately stops with me I cannot be held responsible for all 4,000 people who attends behaviour. I want to assure you all that we are already planning for drastic changes next year to minimise this problem. A family camping area will be introduced as well as an area for campers who wish to party after hours. We will also be introducing within these areas a permanent security team to moniter behaviour.

Secondly we have moved to a new site this year which brought with it new challenges that needed to be addressed. You can be assured that all concerns will be dealt with by 2013. You may remember that we had terrible problems with toilets last year at Beverley Polo Club which we dealt with for this year and overall were a great success.

It's not until listening to both positive and negative feedback from our valued customers that we can change the festival and improve year on year.

We are a small, family run festival and although, again, a minority think we are just cashing in, we really do care and are passionate about what we do. As you may well have experienced with our fantastic, helpful and smiling staff. Some of the criticism, I feel, has been uncalled for in this regard as our staff and volunteers have all busted a gut to make tribfest what it is today.

I hope you will be attending next year with your family and friends at Sledmere House in 2013. A huge thank you again to the masses who attend every year and love the festival.

Don't forget, discounted tickets go on sale at 8am tomorrow morning for one week only at www.tribfest.co.uk
