Farino

Formed in 2007, Farino are a Hull-based, instrumental acoustic guitar duo who specialise in fast and frenetic, intricate playing.

With John Shepherd on Lead Guitar and Karl Marsden on Rhythm guitar, Farino play a mixture of original and cover material spanning many genres including Spanish/Flamenco, Latin, Jazz, Rock/Pop and Classical styles including songs by Rodrigo & Gabriela and Django Reinhardt to name a few. They have played in a variety of festivals such as Beverley Folk, Cornucopia, Hull Freedom, Bridport and venues further afield such as Scotland and London as well as many local gigs and private functions.

They perform in a variety of contexts such as local cafés and restaurants, regional and national festivals as well as weddings and corporate events.
