canal side

hi, just wondering if theres going to be a security fence running along the canal side this year to stop people coming into the camping area or will we be able to cross the fence for a walk along the canal side or even nip to the chain and anchor pub?

Probably will be security fencing this year, now that the VIP camping is in that location and 'us standard' campers are being squeezed into 'last years carpark' !!!

Hi Just a quickie with the concerns of the new layout
We will be moving all the standard weekend tents into the overflow camping area
and the caravans with and without power will stay in the main camping field
Which will hopefully address the concerns of overcrowding both fields have ample space
The new layout was done willy nilly it was a group decison made by security and health and safey representavives involved with Tribfest.
So instead of everyone chipping away at the festival come with a big smile and enjoy yourselves!!
after all it is a fun weekend.
Looking forward to seeing all past and new Tribfesters

thanks admin that makes it clearer though i wasnt having a go all i was asking about was the canal side just wanted to know if it will be fenced off this year?

Thanks ED. Not knocking the festival, I would not coming back for the 4 time if it was not the best weekend of the year. Was just a bit worried about the space. Looking forward to the fun.

Good man Ed, I knew you would 'come good' you always do, the only thing you now need to correct is your own performance with the mic, get out of VIP and on the main stage.... it was us regular campers that begged you to get the couch back in action and its no good to us if your in VIP.... thats my final whinge for the year, roll on Friday !!!!
